Social Integration Toolkit

We’ll make your feature phones smarter.

Last year, 120 million smart phones were sold worldwide, their popularity in part fueled by a rich communication experience that provides access to applications and communication services like email and social networking.

Last year, 1.16 billion "non-smart" phones were sold worldwide. While they have less power and fewer functions, these feature phones represent the lion’s share of the mobile consumer market.

Before the ANTHEM platform, integrating rich data communication functionality into feature phones was all but impossible. But today many carriers and OEMs around the world are doing exactly that with our award-winning solution that makes feature phones smarter.

ANTHEM acts as a sort of rosetta stone, translating the functionality of different third-party communication utilities like email, IM and social networking into the language of a mobile device’s user interface. The result is integrated communication services that consumers love without the heavy lifting and long delays of redefining the device UI. We simply publish ANTHEM APIs to device manufacturers that enables them to integrate functionality into their UI without having to define specific connections to each service.

This architecture approach enables the phone's address book to be a Social Address Book, or the camera to include "one-click send" of photos to popular social networking and photo sharing sites. Alerts and feeds can be served directly into the device UI instead of using an inadequate transport like SMS.

Any third-party service can be brought front and center, giving mobile consumers a rich communication experience no matter what kind of device they have. Carriers and OEMs benefit from additional service revenue and differentiation.
